Vintage A. Dotras Cordoba classical guitar, made in Spain. Antonio Dotras Cordoba was a luthier in Barcelona who started building guitars in 1920. In 1957 he moved to Calle San Pablo 28, which is the address on this guitar - which makes it c. 1950s - 1960s.
The guitar is constructed of quality solid woods throughout, including a very nice solid spruce top. Not sure what the neck and sides are made from. It has pretty multi-layered binding with purfling and very fancy soundhole rosette decoration. It is a professional grade instrument hand made by a craftsman, not a cheap factory built one. There is very little info available about Antonio Dotras Cordoba guitars, but it is a nice one.
Guitar is in great used condition, nice and clean with some typical minor wear due to age. Some scuffs and dings as can be expected. The top has a hairline going down the middle - this is not a crack, but the original seam that has separated slightly due to the wood settling over the past half century. It is reinforced on the inside and does not flex at all. The guitar plays well and sounds great.
