Super Strong Rare Earth Magnets: This 880 lb. (400 kg.) 3.94 in. (100mm.) diameter magnet has the right balance of strength vs. weight for ease of castability. Comes encased in a steel housing to protect magnet. Threadlocker is applied in the factory to ensure the magnet stays securely affixed from the first use, but extra is included to reapply as needed. The pull strength of our magnets is independently tested to assure they meet or exceed the rated force.
Highly Visible Orange Double-Braided Nylon Rope: 1/3 in. (8mm) thickness for better grip when pulling heavy items. 60 ft. (18m) rope is double ended to add extra sections, for deeper water. In addition, the carabiner can be used to secure the rope to a belt or dock. Each end of the rope is stitched and coated, and looped around a durable metal thimble with a locking heavy duty carabiner.
Impact Resistant Waterproof Case: IP67 rated case is sealed from water, dirt, and dust. Double latches ensure a tight seal and padlock holes add extra security. The interior of the case comes with a protective foam insert to organize all components, including extra storage space for personal gear. The case has plenty of room to fit the rope after it has been unrolled and used. It also keeps the magnet secure to avoid it coming into contact with other objects.
Please Note: The pull force of our magnets is independently tested and verified, however these tests are performed under ideal conditions with a smooth, dry steel plate. Factors such as rust, paint and the shape of the metal object will affect the pull strength and ability for magnets to recover certain items. Also be aware that only ferrous metals (those containing iron) will be attracted to the magnet.
