WWII Original Japanese Type 99 Trigger Guard, spring, follower, magazine bottom door, brought from the Iwo Jima Battle by my Veteran grandfather who witnessed the flag raising on Mount Suribachi from the USS Starr AKA-67. Included is the 16" X 20" display shadow box case holding items from his collection and a photo copy of the ship's log. The case contains the following items; the original Japanese Type 99 trigger guard removed from one of the two Jap rifles my grandfather hand carried back form his tour.; an original photo of my grandparents in 1945; an original snapshot of a WWII Avenger pilot; an original snap shot of USO group visiting the ship; an original snapshot of hula dancers at Pearl Harbor in 1944; original Navy patch; some Military Currency Script; a small glass jar filled with Iwo's volcanic sand; a print of the flag raising on Mount Suribachi; print of AKA-67 USS Starr (Attack Cargo Liberty Ship) and other original war relics from my collection. Also included is a copy of the U.S.S. AKA 67 Starr's biography provenance for both Iwo Jima and Okinawa landings. On the reverse of the case is a detailed inscription of the Japanese rifle part from WWII to present. .00 shipping to the USA. Thanks
