You are bidding on a SUPERB boxed example of a WW2 Imperial Japanese Army Anemometer (Air Speed Indicator)!
This was used at various airfields and weather stations!
This instrument measured the current airspeed, wind direction, and distance.
Made of brass and aluminum, this piece is of POST-war manufacture.
It is 100% IDENTICAL to the wartime variant, and was assembled with ORIGINAL wartime parts.
It still retains 98% of it's original finish, and all data information is printed on the dial, and data plate, indicating type and manufacture, and production number.
This gauge indicated direction, and what appears to be speed and distance.
Also feature a magnetic compass.
No corrosion, and appears to be 100% functional!
Comes complete in the original box!
Like most Japanese WW2 items, this indicator is VERY RARE, and would make a PERFECT addition to any Japanese collection!
