Japanese special war bond, April 1942 1 Yen Japan Industrial Bank issue 5

Description

This is a nice WWII Japanese wartime special discounted bond issued by the Industrial Bank of Japan (Nihon Kangyo Ginko). It is for 1 yen and was issued in April 1942. It measures approx. 5 x 3.25 inches. The red stamp to the right says "China Incident Special National Bond".

Buyer pays US for standard airmail postage or for registered mail outside the UK. Postage within the UK is . Registered airmail is much safer since it allows tracking of packages and compensation in the event of loss. For high value items and certain destinations with unreliable postal systems I will only ship under registered airmail.
