    Description

    Up for auction is this original equipment Model A Ford oil pump that has been fully restored and is ready for service.  The casting was closely inspected for cracks or damage, none found.  New bushings were installed for close tolerance fit of the oil pump shaft so there is no slop in pump function.  The brass screen was cleaned and reinstalled with all new gaskets included.  A new spring was installed on the bottom of the pump.  This spring is vital to proper function of the pump in that it supports the pump after installed, allowing some flexibility in the pump mounting.  The pump was never meant to be rigidly installed as that could result in cracking of the pump housing.  This pump will run for thousands of miles after this overhaul and will give great service as originally designed by Ford.  Any questions, please contact me.  Thanks for looking...
