Original WW2 DFC Pilot Portrait And Letter Bomber IJA Japanese Flying Cross.
Up for sale is a very nice document grouping for a bomber pilot who served in the pacific theatre during WW2. This pilot was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for his actions during a bombing run over a Japanese airfield. Sadly I don’t have his medals or other personal affects, just his portrait and letter to his wife. Further research is possible on this hero, I did some light research and found that he was admitted into the hospital while in the pacific theatre also. It’s possible he went on to win more medals in the future. If you have a DFC this would make for a lovely grouping!
