Description
Up for sale is an item that is often not seen in the collecting community. This piece is an original wooden munitions box used by the imperial Japanese army during WW2. The box is quite literally covered in markings, both Japanese kanji and a US address. This box was most likely seized during battle and was used to ship home other trophies. Written on a piece of paper included with the sale is the name and address of the recipient whom the vet sent it back to. Amazing piece of history, the crate alone is a piece that most Japanese collectors do not have in their collection! Please look over all the pictures carefully to judge the item for yourself.
