    Description

    One (1) rare
    antique Japanese Korean Occupation officials sword.  Brass handle featuring an Imperial Kirimon.  Ray skin handle.  Brass mounted scabbard covered with fish skin.  1910-1945.  Good condition- minor wear overall, most of the original gold gilding worn away.  Blade has minor pitting, abrasions and a few small nicks to cutting edge (see pictures #7, #8 and #11).  Scabbard has a split in the fish skin covering and has been broken off near the chape (see picture #12).  It has been stabilized using 2 wooden pieces and black tape.  May be missing a fitting on the throat of the scabbard.  Measures 32  inches long overall in the scabbard.  Sword measure 30 inches long with a 25 inch blade.  See my other Military items, Japanese sword fittings and other antique arms and armor.  Shipping will be by Priority Mail-.95 including insurance.  Shipping price is calculated from CA. to the East Coast.  If shipping is lower you will be refunded the difference (if more than one dollar).  All international sales are sent Priority or Express Mail with full insurance only.  All sales to the United Kingdom must be by Express Mail to allow insurance.  Please email me for shipping cost if you have any questions.  Will combine shipping on multiple purchases.
