Vintage Porcelain Lion Figurine

Description

A porcelain lion figurine, most likely made in Japan but with no maker's mark or label. And I could not find another that is the exact same in my research. Glossy finish with shades of brown, cream underside, and black eyes, nose, and black on tail and toes. Finely detailed mane and fur and even muscles. The majestic big cat stands with his mouth open and his head is turned to look at you. Measures approx. 5.25" long x 3 5/8" tall x 2" deep. No cracks or chips. Smeared red on bottom of front feet.
I search garage sales, estate sales, auctions, and thrift stores for the items I list for sale.
Items are thoroughly cleaned/washed.
Photographs are part of the description. There may be reflections in photos of shiny, glossy, glass items and also shadows in some due to shifts in natural light or a lack of natural light.
Artificial light can cast an amber/yellow glow upon items, esp linens.
Vintage items generally show age and some wear and I do my best to make note of any condition issues.
