    Pictured and offered for sale is a authentic RARE Japanese officers campaign mobile, traveling, battle plans, map making tool, with built in compass,  fully operational,  in excellent condition.   A Solid brass piece is made with a ink well compartment, and storage area for writing tool.  Lid of ink well has a glass covered jeweled compass which still works.   Please read above in conditions for specifics.  STAMPED on bottom of ink well, and compass is

    CONSTRUCTION :  Please notice from the last two pictures.  The jeweled glass top compass within the ink well lid is installed into place  with 4 "watch size" screws, evenly placed at the 12, 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions.  Notice the lids closing snap construction.  Also the lids hinge is held onto the ink well body by two thick rivet pins, then finished flush, for concealment.  The writing tool cylinder is also attached to the ink well by rivet pins.  QUALITY Military construction.
