  • Condition: Good overall condition and would be very usable for display or reenactments. I have not been able to find any markings. The biggest issues are a tear which has been repaired on the underside, and slight cracking the leather. The tree is solid. Comes exactly as pictured. We sell almost anything horse related (plus some other items occasionally), and we specialize in buyouts of tack stores that are closing and horse owners who are getting out of the business.     This item is from an estate sale. According to research, this is a WWII era Japanese military saddle, which they copied from saddles they confiscated from the British. I cannot find a stamp to identify which military used this.
    The tree and everything else is solid, The only rear defects are mentioned in the condition description above. The saddle is clean and ready for display or use in
    reenactments.
