    Description

    Good condition WWII issue Japanese Officers private purchase model 2 piece aluminum mess kit. This measures 6 1/2 inches long by 4 1/4 inches wide and is 2 1/4 inches tall. Has a well worn anodized finish to the aluminum. Has an impressed symbol with Kanji on both pieces as shown. The bottom tray is maker marked, it appears to be double maker marked, as the right side circular symbol is one I recognize as being a war time Type 94 canteen manufacturer. Both top and bottom show some light handling dents from being used. great item for your IJA officer display.
