    Description

    WWII Japanese Army Type 94 pattern canteen in good shape. Body has around 90% brown paint. No major dents in body. Front of body has faded white painted kanji on it, probably was a unit marking.  Bottom is marked to the Nigiriya company, and is SHOWA dated 16 (1941) Canteen has a stitched name on the front side of the harness, Has good condition early pattern cork stopper with good leather stopper strap. Harness has visible Gov. ink stamps and is dated SHOWA 16 (1941).  Overall a nice condition canteen for being 80 years old.
