    Description

    WWII Japanese Army Type 94 pattern canteen that has around 98% mustard brown paint. Canteen body is maker marked on the bottom and Showa dated 1942. Harness is the mid war variety with no metal buckles.Somewhat faint gov. ink stamps on shoulder harness, I cannot make out the SHOWA date on harness ink stamp. This canteen was not named by a soldier. Retains the early style stopper. Cork stopper is in good shape, still has some mustard brown paint on its top.
    Just your basic mid war pattern type 94 canteen in good shape!
