Owens.  Softcover, pub. 1980, stated as second edition, 41 pages plus references and notes.  Stapled binding is good, stain on lower right corner of front cover.  "This study traces the historical events concerning the Yokaia Indian tribute of Ukiah Valley in Northern California.  It spans a period from first White contact to the present in a chronological progression exemplifying occurrences of resistance, adaptation, and accomodation.  From the early Russian settlements through the Mendocino Indian Wars where many Native Americans were slaughtered by the white settlers to the development of the reservation.  The Ukiah Valley is in Northern California.
